Our Process

How does insurance reinstatement work?

1

Review your policy and make contact with your insurance provider. Your Insurance provider will appoint a loss adjuster to scope the damage and determine what can be covered.

2

A reinstatement specialist such as Duncan & Taylor is appointed. Your claim comes into our communications hub. In the case of an emergency we provide immediate service (make safe) to secure your property and prevent further damage.

3

Our team will book in a time to meet onsite with you to review the damage and provide a quote to your insurance company.

4

If your application is approved, one of our project managers is assigned to your work. This reinstatement specialist will work closely with you to go through the scope of work, establish a timeframe and develop a strategy for completing repairs.

5

Work is started by Duncan & Taylor. We project manage the entire job and organise all necessary contractors. It is not always possible to see the full extent of the damage. We work closely with your Loss Adjuster, so if any further damage is discovered during our work we can easily create variations of the main claim to extend the scope as necessary.

6

Upon completing the repairs we will ensure you are 100% happy with your reinstatement and ask you to sign off on the job to complete the process.

Private Work

In general we specialise in insurance reinstatement work, however should you require additional service during your claim we are happy to discuss providing you with a quote to complete any works that may not covered by your insurance provider.
